My pro take

This is my "your skin but better" foundation. It is lightweight with buildable medium coverage, so it evens out tone and softens texture while still letting skin show through. The formula has hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, allantoin, vitamin E and tea tree oil, and it keeps skin hydrated for up to 12 hours.

I recommend it to clients who feel dry or tight in full-coverage formulas, and for everyday wear, school runs, office days and lunches. It also photographs naturally, so it is lovely for relaxed shoots and natural bridal looks on dry skin.

Shade guidance

There are 6 shades: Porcelain, Nude, Buff Beige, Sand, Tan and Mocha. Because the coverage is lighter, it is more forgiving if your shade is not perfect. If you are between shades, go with the lighter one for a fresh look and add warmth with blush. Deeper skin tones may find a closer match in the 13-shade JU Quillage range.

How I apply it

Hydrate
Apply your usual moisturiser and let it absorb for a minute or two.

Use fingertips or a brush
Warm a small amount between your fingers and press it in, or buff it in with a dense brush.

Build in layers
Add a second thin layer where you want more coverage instead of one thick layer.

Conceal after
Spot-conceal with the Creamy Liquid Concealer once the foundation is on.

Light set
Mist with the Matte Finish Setting Spray, which also adds hydration.
